From November 10 to 16, 2025, Palma opens its doors and its heart. For one week, Open House Palma 2025 invites locals and visitors to explore the city through its architecture, design, and everyday spaces. This year’s theme “Espais que cuiden, persones que hi habiten” (Spaces that care, people who inhabit them) celebrates the human side of architecture. How the places we live and work in shape the way we feel.

From Timeless Icons to Contemporary Gems

The highlight is the weekend of November 15-16 when free access is granted to many locations. Advance registration, however, is essential due to limited capacity.

More than 60 buildings will reveal their secrets this year. Among the city’s architectural classics are the Consolat de Mar, seat of the Balearic Government, and the Castillo de San Carlos, the star-shaped fortress that has watched over Palma Bay for centuries. 

Visitors can climb the Porto Pí Lighthouse, one of the world’s oldest still in operation, descend into the Cistern of La Misericòrdia, a hidden cathedral of light and water beneath the city. Or take a look behind the scenes and the eventful history of Palma’s Teatre Principal.

New Participants

The new La BiBi + Reus gallery is participating in Open House Palma for the first time. As are the Son Busquets barracks, where a new neighborhood with more than 1,000 rental flats is to be built. And you can now visit Villa Bonet in El Terreno, former home to the famous El Casablanca bar.

Walk, Listen, Connect

In addition, earlier in the week there are guided open walks, talks and workshops exploring topics such as mental-health architecture and urban wellbeing.
