The story of this digital Mallorca magazine started in early 2014. Launched with a lot of enthusiasm, we quickly realized that we needed more time than we thought. Time to make contacts, gather experience, gain readers and convince sponsors. And then it went really well. The golden bat, Estilo Palma’s mascot, became a trademark for particularly nice stores and restaurants, for interesting people and exciting stories. Clients approached us for ads or sponsored posts, companies and other media asked for texts and photos.
But in the seventh year, the pandemic and the economic crisis also hit Estilo Palma hard. We won’t let it get us down. And we don’t let our friends and partners on Mallorca down. Together we focus on things that give hope but we do not forget the dark side. For seven years, true to the motto that we only write about things that we like and are convinced of ourselves. We want to keep this positive approach. Not to be confused with naivety or escape from reality. What we have in common with all those we report on here is a willingness to get involved and do our small part to make things happen.
In this sense, thank you for seven years on our side, for your loyalty, enthusiasm, criticism and contributions. And last but not least for your friendship. We are starting the eighth year with optimism. Hoping that it’s going to be a better year for all of us.
