Children press their noses against the sparkling shop windows. With wide eyes and pure fascination, they study every detail. Classic tin toys glimmer under the lights, instantly making hearts beat faster. Both young ones discovering magic and adults rediscovering forgotten childhood memories. Walk down Pas d’en Quint, especially in the weeks before Christmas, and you’ll notice something unmistakable. The storefront of La Industrial alone feels like a tiny stage where nostalgia and wonder meet. And yet, the real magic happens inside.

Magic Happens Inside
Grandparents, parents, and kids fill the store with excitement. Children wander in curiously while their parents shop next door. Elderly visitors quietly smile as they spot toys they once held in their own hands decades ago.

Shelves overflow with treasures: dolls, miniature grocery-store sets, Duplo and Lego, classic tin toys, as well as an impressive lineup of model cars and even airplanes. Everything is selected with intention and heart.

“We don’t sell anything we don’t genuinely love ourselves,” explains Concepció Aguiló. And you feel it instantly, every item is chosen not just to be bought, but to be cherished.

Where Stories Take Flight
Time and again, La Industrial transforms simple objects into stories, memories, and magical moments. A little boy stands in front of the model airplanes, his eyes glowing.

After carefully choosing one, he takes off, quite literally, running through the aisle, soaring through his own imaginary skies. In that instant, La Industrial becomes a little heaven on earth.

Making People Happy
The philosophy behind La Industrial is beautifully simple. “Making people happy is the best job in the world,” Concepció says. And with every customer who leaves the shop smiling, that mission becomes reality.

Long-time regulars, who once picked out toys here as children, now return to choose gifts for their own kids or grandchildren. Teenagers search for the perfect model car to add to their collections. And adults, drawn by nostalgia or craftsmanship, find joy in the store’s exactingly detailed replicas.
In a world rushing toward the digital, La Industrial stands proudly as a reminder that joy can still be held in your hands.

It is always a highlight when the large shop window is elaborately decorated for Christmas. Each year dedicated to a different theme. This time, it’s the hair salon. Washing and cutting, styling and blow-drying, the miniature salon at La Industrial has it all. Including reading materials and posters with the latest hairstyles.

A Legacy That Still Sparkles
Founded in 1929, La Industrial is Palma’s oldest toy store. And one of the city’s emblematic establishments. For nearly a century, it has remained a family business, now lovingly run by Concepció and Neus Aguiló, the third generation. And despite the passing decades, the essence of the store has never changed. To offer toys that inspire imagination, community, and delight. ![]()
