Imagine lying on your back in the dark, gazing up at a gothic vaulted ceiling. When suddenly light beams fill the room that seems to open up to the night sky. And you are immersed in a world of colors and sounds. For a few days only, La Lonja invites you to an imaginative trip of light and vision.

For ten minutes, the exhibition “Cartografía del Imaginario” captivates the visitor. And Es Baluard Museum could not have found a better place than the magnificent former bourse of maritime trade. Already a jewel in daylight, it now sparkles like diamonds in the sky at night.

The project integrates video mapping, lighting, multi channel sound and lasers, transforming the ceiling into a remarkable space. Presenting images from a 700 years old atlas. Thus allowing us to explore and imagine the world at the time when La Lonja was built. But also the world of today and tomorrow.

The “Immersive Experience” at La Lonja runs from 29 March to 2 April 2023, daily from 18-22 h, Saturday and Sunday also from 10-13 h. Free admission.
