All set for streetlife: pasatiempos

Whether Adidas or Vans revive one of their vintage models, Obey introduces a fancy shirt, or Eastpak presents a new backpack – you are likely to find them all at pasatiempos. If skate and street wear is your thing, this shop will make your heart beat faster. But even if it is not, it’s always worth to stop by and see what’s new and hip, and be amazed by the abundance of fancy items in a fanciful setting.

Brands such as Carhartt, Converse, Obey, Adidas, New Balance, Havainas, Dr. Martens, Palladium, or Paez, offer all kinds of shirts, pants, hats and caps, dresses, bathing suits, sunglasses and, of course, sneakers. The huge selection of the many different styles in bright colors and eccentric combinations, displayed on their own „shoe wall“, is just a pleasure to look at. Mind you, there are two pasatiempos stores close to each other – so nice, they got it twice.

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered a pair of slim cut pants from Monkee Genes in a great grass-green shade, at pasatiempos’ – and simply had to buy them. Whenever I feel like wearing colors in the morning, they are my first choice. Until then, I did not know this UK denim brand, but soon found out, that their jeans are solely made from organic fabrics, and by people who care. No slave labour, no child labour, no blood, no sweat, no tears – that’s their motto, and I am happy to support it.
