There are about 300 sundials on Mallorca, one for every sunny day on the island. One of my favourites is next to Palma’s capitania at Carrer del Moll, a plain round made of stone that many people pass without even noticing. The real fancy part: it only tells the time if you pose as the hand.
This weekend it’s clock change, again, and we’ll be given back the hour that we were told to save at the end of March. We all know that there is no such thing as saving time. I am going to squander this extra hour, lavishly spend it on a long night out while all the sundials are sleeping.
